The fraction calculator not only gives you the result, but also shows you the rules and steps that apply to your calculation. In addition, the result is automatically simplified (reduced) using the greatest common factor. If the result is an fraction in which the numerator is greater than or equal to the denominator (improper fraction), the fraction calculator will convert it to a mixed fraction.
